Finding dog-friendly accommodation can prove quite a hassle - and finding holiday destinations that welcome dogs is equally as daunting.

To help with this task, we've compiled the following list of countries that, generally speaking, are welcoming to our canine friends. Although attitudes will vary from place to place, these countries already have a large population of dog lovers and are therefore more used to accepting and welcoming dogs than you may find elsewhere in the world.
